Our Story
Passed like a baton, season by season.
Like a relay race marked by purpose, each season of leadership has brought the church closer to where God is calling us to be.
GBC was born out of a vision for community and faith, founded by Pastor Joey. Under his leadership, the church took root and grew into a place where lives were changed and hearts were transformed. When the time came, Pastor Joey faithfully passed the baton to his wife, Carmen, who carried that same spirit forward with grace and dedication — equipping the saints, deepening the church’s foundation, and continuing to build what God had started.
Fast forward to October 2025: that baton was passed once more — this time into the hands of our now Senior Elder, John Joseph, who steps into this role building an impenetrable Fortress that will serve as a sanctuary for the Body of Christ.
A new chapter is unfolding, and we are pressing forward with faith for the Finish. As we walk in obedience and consistency, one right choice at a time, we invite you to be part of what God is doing next at the now called Fortress Life Centre.

Fortress Life Centre is supported by a Leadership Team of leaders from diverse people groups and ministries within our church, including Hebron Men and Charis Women.
Our leaders are chosen for their demonstrated commitment to biblical values, Christ-like character, and faithful leadership. Following the heart of Ephesians 4:11–12, they seek to build up and encourage the church community as it grows in faith.
